Diane has continued to pursue basket weaving. A crafts group, which is made up cruisers in Boat Harbour who are working on any kind of crafts, meets every Thursday. It has been a great way to learn the techniques and new ideas for baskets.
This year, we have started making baskets using pods that grow on trees as a base. We get the pods off the tree using a boat hook to reach them. These baskets are a great size for serving crackers.
